Can only go up from here

Looking back at freshman year i had my ups and downs but all around it was a good year, i learned plenty in classes, met SOOO many cool new people and also i really have a better idea of where i want to go after college. That being said im also very excited to start back up next year. Trust me im so ready for summer but looking forward i know i will like next year even more i get to start with a fresh slate but also still know whats around and the people here so i think overall it should be better.

So I really didnt like these peer reviews for Unit 4 too much. I mean yea i got a lot of good information but the thing is 7 minutes just isnt enough time to give good advice on a paper 5 or 6 pages long. I mean for the most part i was able to and saw other people get to about 2 or 3 pages of a paper which is great and im sure those pages will be awesome, but the last part wasnt even touched at all! I felt bad because im sitting here wanting to get through all their paper so i really know what im going to say and i just cant so if that happened to you im sorry lol 7 minutes just wasnt enough time to get through it all.

Internship

Man internships are so hard to get with the damn economy the way it is right now. I applied for an education internship at a wildlife park near my hometown of peoria, the interview went great and i even volunteered for a couple days and the people i worked with in that department were great and told me that they liked working with me and put in a good word for me and even after all that they just couldnt give me it because of money issues, they offered an unpaid one but it was going to be 40 hours and without getting money from it i just couldnt do that because i need to make money bad and also i need to take some classes at a community college over summer so i can actually graduate on time. DAMN!

My RA's

I have to say that it seems i have some really cool RA's my first one was pretty sweet and cool to hang out with but then he kinda got fired or at least asked to quit. But my new one it seems is even better, he trys to hang out with us and doesnt just think of us as residents. Me and some of my floor have done some volleyball with him and racquetball and he always comes in and wants to play call of duty or mario kart with us. not to mention our awesome nerf gun wars lol i know it sounds dorky but i paintball all the time and a nice and fun break is to run around our dorm with nerf guns shooting each other.

Spring Break

im looking forward to spring break it will be a great time to just relax, all i have to do is a little bit of homework and then check up on some vets and a wildlife center that i applied to and see whats up with that. i decided not to work over this break just because i feel like relaxing lol.

Racquetball

I played Racquetball with some friends the other day it was really fun and a great break from working on homework. This wasnt the first time i have played i go over with some people and play at least once a week but it is just a great stress relief and and just fun in general.

Nothing to do on campus

alright so i am bored as all hell on the weekdays, the only thing to do on campus is eat, go to the rec and go bowling/ play pool. i do all of these things plenty and i am still bored, if you guys have anymore ideas for on campus activities let me know but i just wish there was more to do, yea i go out on the weekend but i just get so bored on weekdays.

Music

ok so ive been thinking and ive noticed how much music is linked to our emotions. When we are sad we might listen to something slower or when we listen to something slower, it calms us. When i listen to something like O.A.R. i get into a really good mood, then there is stuff like "dance" music or the kind of music we can move to but it also gives us a lot of energy for some reason. music can inspire us even, take an orchestra or national anthem certain parts you can feel something.
